The Kids will be LIVE in Toronto in November!

RELEASE: October 11th, 2024 at 4:00 PM EST

The Kids in the Hall return to perform live comedy in Toronto at The Danforth Music Hall, on November 25, 2024. The show will fundraise for beloved Kids in the Hall alumni performer and writer, Paul Bellini, who is battling cancer.

Legendary Canadian sketch group, The Kids in the Hall, today announced that they will be performing live at the Danforth Music Hall on Monday November 25th 2024, to raise funds to support their friend and colleague, Paul Bellini. The stage show, Kids in The Hall: A Show for the Great Bellini, will be a night of singing, storytelling and simple scenes, in honour of their longtime collaborator. Other longtime Kids’ collaborators will contribute to the show, including: directorial help from founding Artistic Director of Crow’s Theatre, Jim Millan; and musical accompaniment by member of the great Canadian band, Odds, Craig Northey.

"We're all so independently busy these days that it's rare to get us all together, but Paul's well-being is an undeniable reason for us to take to the stage," says Bruce McCulloch, one of the Kids.

Paul, known to Kids’ fans as simply “Bellini”, appeared as a towelled, enigmatic figure throughout both the original CBC/HBO series, as well as the revival series on Amazon Prime in 2022. Paul is currently fighting bone marrow cancer.

All profits from the show will be donated to support his healing journey, alongside which, a GoFundMe donation page has been launched to raise additional funds for him. That GoFundMe page can be found here: https://gofund.me/a15635d0

First premiering in 1989, the original Emmy Award-nominated The Kids in the Hall television series starred Canadian comedians Dave FoleyKevin McDonaldBruce McCullochMark McKinney and Scott Thompson. All the original “Kids” will be reprising fan-favorite characters and some of their favourite scenes, both aired and unaired, in their live, stage show.
